QUALITY EDUCATION

Every baby has a developmentally appropriate programme, to meet their individual needs. 

We will maintain an individual portfolio of learning for every child. These portfolios can be accessed by parents and discussed with our staff at any time. We also schedule parent interviews once a year.

We provide free disposable nappies for your child, while they are in our Centre.

To provide a safe and quality environment for your child we operate with a ratio of 4 children to 1 adult.

Indoor & Outdoor Play

The Babies have their own specially designed indoor and outddoor areas, and a sleep room to provide them undisturbed rest.

All children spend at least part of the day experiencing indoor activities, ranging from puzzles, building blocks, stories, and playing with toys. We also have times of ‘messy’ play, for example finger painting, shredded paper, and play dough.

The Babies outdoor area is designed to provide then with tactile experiences, exploration, social development and physical confidence.  Traditional play equipment like a fort, sand pit, and a grass area are provided.

Shade cover provides protection during the summer heat. Furthermore, we provide sunhats and sunblock for all children during the summer months, and woolly hats during the winter months.

Trips

As part of our programme we will take the children on outings and trips to places of interest or fun. We endeavour to have at least one exciting trip out of the Centre each term. We and the children love it when parents are able to join us on these trips.
